I'm Jeff McNeal.

I enjoy playing the guitar and in particular writing songs. I have played with a couple of groups doing a variety of music and played with a local gospel group for approximately three and a half years. Lately, I have been a bit lazy and haven't played as much as I should. Maybe I will jump back in someday. We'll see...

I play electric and acoustic guitar, though I prefer electric. My electric guitar of choice is my Fender Telecaster Plus. After all is said and done, I believe the Fender Telecaster to be the finest electric guitar ever produced. An excercise in simplicity, the Telecaster has been in more musically important places than any other electric guitar.

I also play my G&L George Fullerton Model. It is pretty much a "do all" electric, going from a beautiful ballad to a screaming rocker with ease. That's the G&L I'm playing in the photos with my former gospel band, Deviation.

I generally play my electric guitars through either of two amplifiers, my Laney VC 30 or my Fender Vibro Champ, depending on venue and style of music.

My acoustic guitar of choice is my Guild JF30 Jumbo. Its all maple body with spruce top give it a mellow, sweet tone that entices you to play another song.

As I said earlier, I enjoy writing music. Being a Christian, I especially enjoy writing songs about my Christian walk. I feel I have been so blessed to be able to write and play music that I want to do something meaningful with it. Uplifting music with positive messages of God's love does make a difference in people's lives.
